We’re incredibly proud to announce that our Senior Account Manager, Jeniya Klimova has successfully achieved her Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) certification.
This accomplishment is huge a testament to women in technology, as Jeniya was one of 150 women worldwide selected for Veeam’s exclusive #EmpowHerVMCE initiative.
What is the #EmpowerHer VMCE initiative?
According to Gartner, women represent half of the global workforce, yet only make up 26% of people who work in IT. To further its commitment to enhancing diversity and inclusion within the technology industry, Veeam launched the #EmpowHer initiative.
This multifaceted program offers women from diverse backgrounds comprehensive training, a wide array of resources, and dedicated support to help them obtain the industry-recognised certification. The program isn’t just about training and certifications; it’s about empowering women to thrive in a field where they can be underrepresented, breaking down barriers and creating a more diverse and inclusive tech landscape.
In her LinkedIn announcement, Jeniya shared: “Last year, I was selected as one of 150 women worldwide to participate in Veeam’s #EmpowHerVMCE program. This incredible diversity and inclusion initiative is designed to support women in the Veeam ecosystem through comprehensive training and VMCE certification. It was a demanding course, but I’m happy to officially announce that I’m now a certified #VMCE!”
Jeniya also expressed her gratitude, saying, “I wouldn’t have even considered pursuing something like this without the support of Veeam Software and virtualDCS. I feel incredibly fortunate to have such amazing backing!”
