Support Apprentice Antonio Francis has graduated the Microsoft apprenticeship programme and is now an official member of the virtualDCS team.
With virtualDCS pioneering the Cloud once again, Antonio was one of the first students to take part in the Microsoft Apprenticeship programme, which he attended remotely through the Cloud.
Learning key skills such as the fundamentals of networking and servers, Antonio will now put his qualifications to good use as he continues to implement cloud solutions.
“Rather than go to college, I decided to take part in the apprenticeship as I wanted to get some hands on experience within the IT industry. I’m delighted that I’ve not only passed my apprenticeship, but that I’m also been offered a permanent position at virtualDCS”, said Antonio
Ross Devine, head of technical support commented: “We’re really proud that Antonio has completed such a difficult apprenticeship. He’s made such a positive impact on the team since he has been working with virtualDCS and I’m sure he will continue to learn and grow professionally in his new role.”
